hi-flow cat question

A few months back i got a cat back 2inch exhaust on my EG hatchback D15B4. I have 4-2-1 headers and i was just wondering am i holding my exhaust system back at all with just running with the standard cat?

hot 4's did an article a while ago and they took a fairly common car(can't remember which one, but it wasn't a performance car). It had a cat back exhaust and they put it on a dyno. Got the base figure and then removed the cat then re did the dyno run and guess what.....nothing changed! Unless its a turbo or your going crazy on the engine, there is no point in spending the money on one.
