Hello

The thing Im after is to how could I lift my cars ride height without changing to bigger spring? or without coilovers? you see I have been given a deefect notice and I have to get a Roadworthy but one of the things that need changing is the height of my car!

is ther any way to place something between the springs just so I can get to the mechanic and to Vicroads and not have the car slaamed on the ground? coz Vicroads is gonna check my car!

BTW: my car is only to low by a 1cm or two, so I just need to lift it just an extra 3cm's or so just to be safe! :D

Cheers!

you know them white plastic chopping boards?
cut them up into little squares.
jack up your car and put it between the springs at the top using blutak to hold it there.
this will raise up your car ride by atleast 10cms dependin up much u put there.
its only temp and it wont hurt since the choppin board is plastic

I had to raise mine 40mm, I removed the heat shield from cat and put 50PSI of air in tyres, they looked like donuts, but it gained some extra clearance....

Hi guys

It has been a hektik couple of days but I finally got it sorted and passed my roadworthyness with flying colours! thanks for the help, I'm highly thankful for you advice, but yes like Matt said change the exhaust to stock? Bro I did and I'm glad kept it too, the exhaust was the worst in regards to the ride height, all I did was to fitt in some rubber blocks that I had forgotten I had and shoved them at the top of my rear springs and as for the front I just had to change to stock struts, it was hell I tell ya but I'm glad its done!

BTW: I highly advice to everyone who is looking to change part on their car to aftermarket ones to please keep your stock components, I tell you that if I never had kept any of my stuff I would have had a heart attack by now, and have noticed how important and how handy it becomes to keep all of this stock junk!

cheers!
