EG Civic A/C - gas type and amount

Hi guys,

I've got a '94 EH9 VTi with the Y1.

I believe these cars were originally fitted with an R12 refrigerant system for the A/C and that mine has had the R134 conversion done by the previous owner - can anybody confirm that these cars were originally R12?

Also, would anybody happen to know how many grams of R134 the A/C system should take?

The EG was originally R12 however I think the later ones started to get the R134A, if it has had the R134A retrofit then it would have the R134A connectors on the recharge valves. It takes 550 ± 50 grams R134a
