Last night car would not start, radio etc comes on, headlights work. but turn the key to crank and all the cluster lights turn off along with the radio, like it takes the power away from them to start the engine, thers a click as the lights turn off but then nothing car just goes quiet.
No starter motor engagement.
changed battery this morning and that didnt help it,
Im pretty sure the immoboliser is working fine, the green light goes off on the (II)
what do you guys think? i cleaned the terminals on the wires... the car was working the day before...

It's the starter, since you've replaced the battery.

Good luck hitting the starter with a hammer on a k series.

Have you checked battery voltage?
