Those who's been lurking round here for a while would've known I had a inkling to have my ECU re-flashed or some degree of however its been difficult, it's either pay someone $1300 or pay for $2k flashpro setup.
Well... With some divine help from LittleBo from TSXclub, I was able to reflash the AUDM OEM ECU.
So, after a year's searching, and a lot of hard work.... It went in tonight, a reflashed, AUDM, ECU.
HOLY SHIT.
No more throttle lag, soooo much more response low and mid range, and a lower VTEC to boot.
Now I know why the 'mericans love it so much.
SO, to recap:
I. GOT. REFLASH.
EDIT: been a while since I updated...
1. ALL POSTFACELIFT ECUS ARE NOW READY
2. ALL Preface Ecu's Are also Supported.

Extra info posted on the AusEuro page:
Less than $500 bucks if the exchange rate holds...although this is just an indication of the rough price point.
Base map tuned on stock engine
Can't wait, it's going to be great :D
Great work Fredoops !

Nice, I might have to do it on my Euro as well. Does the ECU have to be shipped overseas?

Nope
I do it here
someone remotely flash it from overseas (hence the dependency on exchange rate)

Specs are lil different. Hondata tune is more "safe" and civil. This one is a lil mo aggressive to extract mo pawa. Wait a lil , Fred will post some info , if something left unclear then ill be happy to answer specific questions.

Let me know what day I can come around I'll bring the 2 ECUs (stock vs tuned) so they can go back to back

Fred, dont forget you have prototype FW in your spare ECU. So to make apples to apples you need baseline vs final reflash for your main ECU. If someone want to see what outcome is just take a look at Hondata dynos . Its hard to invent bicycle here so the ones youll get will be close to em. 10-12 hp in low end , nice torque bump and delivery , 25-30hp in da middle and 10-12 on top. And heres some kind of road testing http://www.drive2.ru/cars/honda/accord/accord_7th_generation/boringena/2/journal/1872624/
AVg result is 5-6 cars on 0-200 run. Rather nice for just a reflash )

More like let's get it on the 1/4....but that would show there's no difference in a heavy fwd hehe. Jokes :0)
It's good to see the euro folk can get some more out of their rides !

IMHO, CL9 crippled tranny is no go for 1\4 . But guys were able to make 14.6-14.8 sec with reflash and headers. Looks like its lil better than stock CTR. 0-100 been dropped rather good also, 6.7-6.8 , 2nd gear can make 100 kph with new redline.

Any way to get the ECU part no. without actually pulling the ECU out? Looks like a real bitch to remove, be better not to have to do it more than once.

Not really, hence why it's not a compulsary question

I guess oem parts catalogue is enough to check for ECU prtnmbr. And its not really PITA to pull it out , you dont even need to pull , just unscrew and look at the sticker.

One of the automatic guys who did the reflash took the car to the drag strip for 1/4 mile, wiped 0.6 off the 1/4 mile (after correction for reaction time) and 5.5 kph more trap speed despite weather being 10 degrees hotter, on stock header and cat.
PSS: 0.6sec @ 141kph is like 3 car lengths.

Fred, it has been 2 years now after your reflash, can you please tell me any issues with it.
I just bought a 2005 Euro a month ago and thinking of reflashing it but enjoyed the comfort and smoothness of the car and afraid that this will compromise that.
Thank you for all your input in this forum. I really enjoyed reading them.

Anything!
How's it drive now?
Acceleration? Fuel economy? Any issues?, etc.
u mad?
07-03-2016, 12:52 PM
Omg, i though every cat in OZ are familiar with it.
Acc is better , respond is better , less lag, more torque everywhere, better mileage, 0-100 is less for approx 1 sec. it provokes for rockin so if u dont watch for cops and cams then penalties are the only issues.
So this is all with a stock car? no boltons? The stock tune must be be pretty shithouse

It's a tune to get the "low emission vehicle" tag back in 2001/02
The rev hang and everything just kinda proves it.
