Hey guys,
Basically I've replaced my front right Lower control arm and Driveshaft on my DC5R and after install my front tire sits further in than my left side. Think I might have bought Base DC5 parts. Just want someone to comfirm that these two are different.
Thanks

A base DC5 driveshaft will not fit a DC5R, the outer spline is not the same. So you can't have got a base DC5 axle. I'm unsure about the lower control arm, but I'd look up the part numbers on a US site and compare between their RSX Type S and base model to get an idea.

Could you tell us why you had to replace a driveshaft and a lower control arm, I have a feeling it could be relevant.

That being the case, it's much more likely that something else is stuffed rather than the wrong parts having been fitted. Look elsewhere.

if your putting your old wheels back on they might be bent mate. check to see if the wheel has any camber as well, or if it just looks wobbly when its rolling. check subframe, was the tie rod not bent?
although it wouldn't surprise me if the Type R had a wider track than the base model.
how much off are we talking? like a good amount? are you sure its not in your head?
