Sup guys, im on the search again on more power and rebuild nxt yr so on the hunt for whats best bang for buck research mode!

ATM ive narrowed it down to Neptune as best bang for buck... Chrome would be better as its the cheapest out of all the OBD1 chipped ecu, but very poor support here in aust

Hondata is over priced here... Why are we paying MORE FOR HONDATA HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........... DA FAQ!!!!! which is why im choosing neptune as its cheaper and same features as hondata

So anyways, neptune, supplied, drive in and drive out is around 1k in total, and with a built D16, im aiming for 220kw@wheels

So has anyone really had a neptune tuned Honda and had any experience with neptune?

Does the car run as good as when its stock?

the price of the tune depends on a) the reputation of the tuner and b) the competency of the tuner. The cost of the unit is the only thing you can really compare

agreed, the only selling point atm is the pricing, but i was merely trying to get a gauge of how the ecu performs under normal operations, most who run a S300 seems to be bang on when it comes to normal operations, no sputtering or wierd idling issues

cheers

Having no problem with idling, or any problem so far, Also you will get support from http://www.hrtuning.com/. Also only neptune has great feature, such as , Anti theft. I use it as rpm limit, to help me from going crazy in town, crowded area...

Hondata S300 is about $600-650 in a ecu now days.

its ok considering the s300 is $550, ecu 80-100, install 100-150.
