headgasket oversize?

Quick one can i use a 76mm over sized hg on a standard bore 75mm engine? Comp will b the same but will using an over sized hg create problems? Will it cause more chance of detonating? An effect the ignition timing too much?

Ps i plan on using this on a standard than move onto a built motor at later stage

will just be another small gap in there, as it is these things arent perfect anyways and the gap will just fill up with carbon over time, until it gets blocked up (since theres no flow in there) the compression will be a tiny lil bit lower.
unlikely that its gonna blow out.
