I was on the track yesterday morning, as I downshifted and went to accelerate out of a corner my transmission/driveshafts popped. I now have no drive nor movement to wheels.
Everything works fine just like normal.
It will go into gear properly while running. My clutch pedal still has full movement and return on it (hydraulic clutch).
When it's in gear with the clutch released the speedo will climb to 20kph, just as it would normally when just rolling. It will go into every gear while running, and both the speedo and tacho climb when throttle is touched.
Has anyone had this before??
Car is going no where...

So what's the actual problem? All the things you describe sound normal, except for the pop. Do you mean that you lost drive to the wheels?

Sorry, updated OP.
I have no movement. Im leaning to it being a driveshaft issue of when one goes, all loos power goes to it, spinning freely.
But, with the LSD shouldn't both driveshafts have traction and movement? Could it be a diff problem, driveshaft or something else??

IF one driveshaft pops out the diff will transfer to the non-loaded side - you have a torsen diff which woks under load but isnt a true LSD.
Have you popped the driveshaft back in yet ?

By pop I mean busted. Broke.
So, it could quite possibly be as simple as drive shaft.
I haven't been able to have a proper look. It's currently sitting at the shop I had it towed back to.

akk k. Anyway if the CV joint is snapped or driveshaft popped out the car wont move at all.

I've been in and had a look at it, it appears that the driveshaft may have just slipped out of the gearbox whether under torque or power or whatever. But it is sitting loosely outside of it.
Will have it up on the hoyst later today to take a closer look at it.

I've had it up on the hoist.
The driveshaft had been spat out of the trans. Not sure how, but I'm going to look into it.
I've also been leaking trans fluid out of my box. This I'm unsure about and worried, so I'm going to get into it this afternoon and sort it out.
Edit: I have discovered that I am also leaking oil.
After getting under it I found out that one of my bolts was loose on the block. I have tightened it yet am still leaking fluid. It appears to be from my left hand drive shaft not seating properly.
I am hoping that the oil leak was from the aforementioned bolt. It doesn't appear to be leaking from any of my gaskets, but I will look closer tomorrow morning.
Question: does the ring around the drive shaft near the transmission do anything to prevent fluid from coming out?? It is currently loose and just skips around.

Drive shaft seal.
Replace it

thanks cbauto, it looks like it has been. I'm going to look into it and hopefully have it fixed by the next C&C meet.

If the driveshaft popped out chances are it wasn't fully engaged when fitted and if its not sitting flush with the rubber seal it will cause a leak. Hopefully the seal wasn't damaged. Not hard to replace either way.
