Fd1 vtec

Hey guys i know this topic has been done to death. R18 has economy vtec blah blah

I was bored looking around 8th civic forum for some performance ideas
Then came across some ppl claiming vtec crossover on r18

Turned out r18 does have a high vtec. Well... Maybe more of a sound one

Around 5200 it changes into a more aggressive growl but there is no kick just smooth continous power. Fyi :thumbsup:

On my dohc nonvtec there's a slight cross over at roughly 6500rpm where it bounces off the rev limiter and bogs down the car.

FYI this experience that I am explaining is not vtec

Crosses over louder than an FD2! Brother previously had an fd1 and I've just purchased myself an fd2. Noticeably more power in fd2 however. No crossover:(

Makes it easier to convert to an fd2r or Mugen rr :D
