Hi guys I want to lower my car but I don't have enough to purchase coilovers. So I've been researching and I will probably be replacing just springs. So far I'm choosing between skunk2 or tein s.tech, are there any other springs recommended? The skunk 2 drop 2.25"/2 while the tein s.tech drops 1.7"/1.4". Where can I purchase these springs? Also I heard just changing the springs shortens the life of the shocks but atm I don't have enough money to spend on lowering it, so is it worth just changing the springs for now? I was looking at tein s.techs on ebay for a bit over $300 including shipping, haven't found any skunk2 springs on ebay for base models so far. Thoughts and suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks!

save up get coils, no point wasting money in between, been said a million times, just try ur best and save the $$.
even buy 2nd hand coils if need be, but a cheap coil set can be had for like 1200.

apparantly skunk2 is hit and miss some ppl say its crap some say its ok. never heard anyone say its great.

i would go eibach or Tein

if ur really desperate get ground control, and get the recommended settings, really good drop can be had with decent ride comfort/performance.

This makes more sense...

OP, if you're not intending to go track with your car, don't bother with most of the coilovers out there... If you want coilovers with comfort + dem sporty feel? Koni + Ground Control :)

Yeah this cars my daily that's all! So how much would I be looking at for Konis and ground control? And where could I get em?

ebay was the cheapest for me last time i shopped around.
start off with the ground controls, and get some konis later.

all up though probably 1200$ 400-500 for GC then 700ish for the koni shocks, the ride with stock shocks should be fine until u can afford the koni yellow. tokico might also be a good alternative

shipping is the killer though./
