Hey guys for my dc2, Would 18" Rims be to Big? At the moment I am looking at a set 18x8's or a set of 18x9's? Could anyone give me advice on which ones to get and if they will be too big. I realize that the gaurds will need to be rolled but I just want to know if either of those will be too big?
Thanks

Definately too big.

Seems like you're making up for something else that is small.

HAHAHAHAHA, Na man Just I'm looking for a rim style like TE37's but without the price tag. I looked at rota's but they only make 17x9's? Would the 9 be too much?

I personally would not go more than 16 x 8

I drive a dc2 aswell

I was running 18s when I just bought my car
- Lenso GF7 18 x 8
Rubbed when full locked on the inside,
Also guards had the occasional rubbing over humps.

All depends on the offset aswell.

Now I'm running 15s
- work Meister CR01 ( 15 x 8 )

18s are too big and heavy in my opinion,
Plus low profile tyres are expensive

Everyone has there own flavour.

Hope that helps

Decided to take your advice and the advice of a DC2R Owner and go 16's, Here's what I chose http://www.rotawheels.com.au/wheels/rota-grid#!prettyPhoto

Nice !!

I wish I bought smaller rims for the start.

18s are way too big, stick with 15s and 16s max

15x8 is perfect size for dc2s i had 15x8 +0 offset rota grid classics, the rims were very aggressive and had alot of poke got defected of course and sold the wheels after that

Woah!
I'm currently running:
Rear= 15 x 8 + 20
Front= 15 x 8 + 25

At 1st was trying to fit :
-15 x 8 + 20 at the front and it hit the caliper , hence why I run these at the back.

Didn't you have any clearance issues with the caliper when running:
- 15 x 8+0 all round

My front is perfect,
Just the rear needed a lot of flaring- My rear tyres stuck out like 4-5 cm

Sorry Jimanji,
I would sell you my front bar but I need it :)
My only advice keep looking, and be patient.

Life always messes with all of us,
When you need something, its never there.

When you don't need it,
it suddenly appears.

Just my experience anyway.

If you can find the Optional Side skirts you'll be able to find the front and rear bars.

15's look too small

16x8 is sexy as fuk

17 good if you want to fit lots of rubber under your guards and good tire selection.
