Thermal Expansion Valve

Hey guys,

My car makes a woooping noise every so often when the HVAC is set to cooling. Reading through threads, I'm fairly certain it's the thermal expansion valve.

So my question is: Is it imperative to change it now? Or should I wait until the aircon needs to be re gassed?

Did you do the recall for the aircon?

I'm not aware of any recalls for the aircon?
