Hey guys i just got quoted from my mechanic the following:
(Perth, WA)

Front brake repairs - $138
Rear brake repairs - $126
Front Discs machined - $100 both
New rear disc rotors - $300 both
Bosch battery - $140
Total: $884.40 inc GST.

Is this a reasonable quote for the service?
Thanks.

Brake repairs - not sure as there's no info on the degree of the damage.
Discs machined - should only be about $30-$40 per disc
Rear disc rotors - $80-$90 for DBA ones
Battery - depends which battery you're getting.

I would say you're being over charged.

Is this a service? If so, have a look at this http://www.carservice.com.au/car-service-cost/honda/accord/accord-2-4-euro-l-auto-ls08/

It lists the typical costs (including labour and parts for servicing).

Hmm if you're south of the river I could recommend a good shop for brakes.

I'm from Melbourne so I wouldn't know, but this seems reputable. http://www.autotechnics.com.au/servicing.html for pricing.

Their website kind of sucks so on some parts you'll have to go to the home page to get to the other pages like "contact us"

All four brake pads are being replaced, not sure what brands though.
Also the battery is going to be a Bosch non-maintenance.
