Hey guys,
Is it just me or does the rpm drop down low and come back up again? I have a friend with a Prelude VTIR as well and his does it but doesn't drop as much as mine.
At times it's gone to 0 and then back up. It's even turned off a few times while driving and the green key light comes on if it turns off. Any help is appreciated.

mine was doing the switching off and green light flashing crap.
i changed the ignition switch relay and it fixed it.

not sure if that would affect the idle too, but i am guessing that the car turning off while driving is the bigger issue.

No probs.
Even though I no longer have a Honda, I may as well still use some of the knowledge I have built up over 11 years of Prelude ownership. (Between a 2nd gen and a 5th gen.)

Cleaning my IACV fixed this issue on my 5th gen

Is the idle problem only on cold start up or when the engine is warm too?

Both. I think it could be a dirty AICV possibly as I've heard that what can happen.

Where about's is it on the throttle body? What would I use to clean it? Anything specific?

In between the throttle body and back of the engine, attached to the throttle body itself
It's bolted on, with 2 small coolant pipes going to it
Use throttle body cleaner, spray the shit out of it
It will be all black shit inside
