Booked in for: Full Correction & 22PLE Pro VX1 Glass Coat Paint Protection.
Car: Ford G6E Turbo
This 2008 G6E Turbo had been washed religiously every week for the past 5+ years, however regrettably using the incorrect washing techniques. Because of this it has created 5+ years of spider webbing (wash marks), marring and other imperfections throughout the paintwork.
Luckily that most of the imperfections were not too deep which allowed us to achieve a good 90-95% correction over the entire paintwork.
Process: Using a strong dilution of APC (twice over) to remove incredibly amounts of AIO (all in one filler/waxes) from the paintwork.
Followed with a full decontamination with the usual Dodo Juice Fine Grey Clay Bar & Born Slippy Lubricant along with 1Z Colourtec (Quick note, Dodo Juice have released a clay & iron fallout remover called the DJ Ferro Clay Lubricant so will stop these double processes!).
Because the car was maintained fairly well the clay picked up fine dirt particles rather than yellow/brown discolouration and tar that is normally found.
Car was rinsed thoroughly and inspected under the lights afterwards which as you can see below really showed how much marring was hidden from products.
We started with a Rotary Polisher, FG500, PF2500 and SF4000, finishing with the DAS6 Pro on 3” & 6” Menzerna Pads for the result. That final stage with the SF4000 really brought out a lot of gloss and depth from the paintwork as you can see!
After correction was completed, another APC wash and using Nanolex Surface Cleaner to remove any leftover polish residue before applying the 22PLE Pro VX1 Glass Coating.

As you can see under the lights that all the spider webbing and marring became a lot more evident!
