what is it a Gli?
u know what engine it has?

no... its just to give advice on modifications usually its easier if we know what you have already in there - then we can give advice. otherwise we're stabbing in the dark :P

im actually driving a 89 civic dual carb today - Gf is borrowing her grandmothers car.. LOL

so u want to go looke right? thats why i said ger rims, suspension and tint - common modifications :)

i'll take a pic of a civic near my work - dunno what it has engine mod wise but looks quiet nice!

what colour is your civic? did you say if it was a hatch or sedan?

get rims first, thats what i done with mine its worth it, think carefully how much you want to spend on your car though cause my theory is if you spend more than half the value of the car on the car itself then you're throwing your money down the drain. And also if you dont want a full exhasut system just get a tip, tips do have noise and are cheap, they only cost around $40 installed (at liverpool exhaust).

Nice clean car you have there. :D

By the way whats a carby filter? Do you mean get a webber carby system or just change the filter? and where would you buy one of these?

Thanks.

its a normal air filter for carbeuretted cars but has more air intake so you get a loud hektik sound. i looked around today and they're like $250 for good ones (at midas) but its up to you if you want to spend that much, fuel injected cars have pod filters that u can pick up for $30 and sound louuuddd but carby filters are expensive. your car looks good its got power windows and everything just look after it and if you wanna make it look good get rims first and see how you go with that.

There's plenty of cheap/free carby mods you can do. just do a search. There's a number of different options for air filters. Shouldn't cost that much.

why a zc?? not a SI?? pardon me cos im just trying to find out why is it that an SI is better than a ZC and and ZC was the chosen engine for your swap?? is it because of the mountings etc??

egSi
12-04-2005, 03:46 PM
mate the zc is the Si engine

oh isit? pardon me if im wrong. :P But i always thought that SI is D16a whereas ZC is something else?? cos i have viewed 2 EG hatch. 1 has a ZC transplanted from an 94 JDM integra (twin carby) and the other is a SI.... sorry if i sounded stupid... im confused already.. :S
