The nsx-r hood was made for downforce and cooling of the radiator. Though most of you dont know, is that their is a DUCT coming from the radiator upward to the exit of the vent to make is possible for this to happen. The Nsx-R never had a Spare tire due to this, and weight issues.

The scoop really isn't a cosmetic feature. It comes standard on the NSX type R in japan.

its cos there is very little weight in the front of the NSX and this adds downforce at high speeds and hard braking.

im a person who likes when things tie in with the rest of the car - and being an NSX and having such a long Header, the Black bonnet just seems a little out of place - on a darker car I guess it would probably suit more.

Hmm - most 0-100 times for the NSX I see quoted are in the range of 5.5-6.5 seconds.

Maybe you are thinking of the NSX-R or a modified NSX.

The above mentioned 3 mid-enginers managed to make rooms behind engine for luggage. I think its due to these 3 have longer rear overhang.

AKA-NSX: I reckon Black hood goes well with red. The Roof and A,C pillars are black anyway, so black and red combo isn't bad at all.
Lindsey Fox's Red Enzo has yellow roof on it. (same colour combo as his trucks)

to change it to 02 looks is not that hard but we always think our red is not good for 02 looks unless if we change the colour as well, then if we change colour i dont think we can sell / trade the car to Honda dealer after that . . . .
