ej8 engine light help

so my muffler hangers have come off and when i hit a bump, the exhaust hits the rear lower control arm. ever since this, my engine light will pop up after 15 mins of driving. the car doesnt blow smoke, and nothing is leaking or the car is driving worse.

was wondering if this is due to my exhaust. i want to see if anyone knows or has had this problem... i will fix the muffler but atm i am working and wont be able to hit an exhaust shop til after easter.

car is a 97 ej8, engine d16y8

any help will be appreciated. it has only happened since my hangars have come off.

i THINK 02 sensor plug may have come loose dueto exhaust move ment?

yes bbut there are many other factors such as cat converter

best thing to do is diagnose it by using paper clip and listen beeps to solve issue
