--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Im not a fan of the rear wiper so have decided to do a DIY to how to remove it, some EG civics motor wipers are held up differently.

One where you can take out the wiper and motor and just place the case+screw back on.

Two, where you take the motor out but you need to buy a plug to hold case into place.

I was stuck with issue 2 so heres how to solve it.

TOOLS NEEDED
- Sink/Drainer plug set ( Can be purchased from Bunnings Warehouse, thanks to EG5 for buying it for me)
- Phillips head screw driver
- 10mm wrench
- 20mm Wrench ( I didnt have one so had to use a adjustable spanner)

What the wiper looks like before

http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/9078/wiper10zz.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Remove the cap cover for the wiper hinge/screw whatever it is on an angle like below.
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/4112/wiper36wi.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Use the 10mm wrench and remove the bolt/nut
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/2523/wiper41xo.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Give the wiper a wriggle and elbow grease to get it out, (WD -40 maybe needed if its too stiff)
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/6805/wiper51ou.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Remove the cap underneath the wiper
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/8192/wiper69ti.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Now on the inside remove the bolts off the cover of the motor with the phillips head screw driver
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/4338/wiper77fh.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Give it a push to the right and pull it out, dun worry it wont snap.
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/2236/wiper81oi.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Remove the three bolts as shown in the pic with the 10mm Wrench.
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/1972/wiper98mx.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Now with a 20mm (not sure was a estimate) or adjustable spanner.
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/5492/wiper100hl.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Make sure you have support for the motor from falling .
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/1835/wiper125fy.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Use the 20mm+ to remove the bolt holding up the wiper motor on the outside as shown below.
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/9377/wiper111iz.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/6205/wiper136oo.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Remove the following parts show below as not needed, leave the rubber on the window
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/2303/wiper145ja.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Disconnect the 2 power socket/connectors one hooked as support the side of the motor and one to the connector itself.
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/6118/wiper156yo.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/6935/wiper166pa.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Make sure you keep the plate/hinge thinge supported incase of snapping the other bolt as a precaution.
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/8836/wiper171qf.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Now take the sink plug thing and place it into the hole and the plate on the inside.
http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/5721/wiper189cu.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/1202/wiper195wf.jpg (http://imageshack.us/)

Take the plate bolt thingie (I dont know what its called) and screw it on the plug.
Apply a bit of force to get it tight inside as it gets a bit hard to turn so jiggle the hinge plate around to it up more.

Put plastic cover back on and your all done !

instead of the plug kitchen thing, just go to clark rubber and get a gromet to fit the hole needed. its rubber and tight and a plug.

thats wat i used when i took of my rear EK wiper and need something to fit the space.

EXTRA DIY: b4 putting in the gromet, if you want get touch up paint and colour code (for ek's) and plug it in so it blends in.

but for eg, the gromet is blk already so you dont have to paint it. since its on the window.

Kicthen/vanity/bathroom section of Bunnings will have the plug... Bunnings at Villawood will definietly have it cos I just bought one.

The grommets available at Clark Rubber in Bankstown will not plug the window wiper on the eg cos the grommets they have are not suited for the thinkness of the glass... I know this cos I already tried them all.
