Hi guys, Names Johnny. I own a FD1 Civic 2008. i owned this for a nearly 3 damn years man!
i just want to keep a diary on how my car progresses.

- Genuine FD2R door trim + backseat (black ver.)
- Js racing FD2R type X carbon lip

- Js racing FD2R Diffuser
- Mugen Diffuser (spare)
- Mugen Visors
- Mugen Door sill
- Spoon rear view Mirror

After a while and research, found a set of Integra type S wheels and also installed my mugen visor

Bought some aftermarket foggies with tint already on them for cheap and installed the week after of getting them:

My MOST expensive item i bought was a J's racing FD2R 60RS titanium exhaust system

The guy let me pay him by installments over the 2months. Very patient and easy to talk to.


Sold the Type S wheels as the owner who i have bought it off needed it to put his car back to stock. (owned it for 6-7months)
been rollin' on steelies for a while till i found someone selling Works vs-xx

I couldnt put them on as i couldnt afford tyres so had to store them up :(


2months ago, i bought a Mugen kit with RR rear. reason i chose the RR rear was i wanted to be different as every one all got the mugen kit (front, rear, side) PLUS i light the 4th brake light so *thumbs up*

dropped my kit off to my panel beater to spray, put my kit and DONE =)

Bought tyres after that and FINALLY put on my works

been happy how she looks and all.
just deciding whether to lower it by springs OR coils.

EVO 7 recaros, gotta get custom brackets made.
reason i went for the evo recaros as they look nicer than the honda recaros<.<

Hey guys, just bringing back an old thread i had, been through many changes so here goes:

had springs installed to the FD as i decided i would invest in coils down the track + springs were real cheap!

Sold my Works and found a set of BBS LM's Specs were 17x9 +35 all round with 215/45/17 tyres for stretch (didnt scrub so that was a plus)

Went to tyre king couple weeks later to buy genuine FD2R rear seats and door trims ( was indecisive on whether to buy fronts as i had evo 7 recaros installed)

Aries one of the stance slutz member was parting out the car so was a great opportunity to get airbags as apparently my drive way is like mt Everest. I straight swap for my BBS and took us 2 days ( due to not having the right tools) thanks to stance slutz member Aries and Long and my mate Charles for the help of installing the bags.

i also swapped for his front bar + camber bolts+ arms as he was reverting it back to stock

Type S wheels were provided by my friend, straight swap for my low Springs+shocks.

CURRENT: bags were rubbed/blown :(

trying to find solution to it...guess is:


- check under car when aired out and check if rubbing when wheel is straight
- check when care is on driven height and turn wheel and assume it touches bag when turning
- if problem is above will adjust camber OR run spacers OR run thinner tyres
