I've been told that the big end bearing is probably dying. I can get a D15B7 off a mate for cheap. What would be required to use the D16 head on the D15 block, if possible, and what kind of performance decrease do you reckon I'd be looking at?

You could get a whole D series cheap couldn't you?

Would be easier than trying to mix and match

Well, he tells me it's cheap. D15B7 with 140k, gearbox, loom, and ECU for $300.

I'm interested... what do you reckon one would cost to freight down?

EDIT: Or even just the block. I think that's all I'd need.
