Hey Guys,

Sorry if been asked a heap before.

I need new tyres for my 06 Honda accord euro luxury(Down to the belt).

Looking at around $200 a tyre I guess.

Any you guys recommend?

If I were to buy a set now, I would go Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym 2 (2nd gen).

Currently have on decent Contiental Max Contact 5.

Beware of those tyre places. A lot are dodgy and will try to trick you. E.g If you're undecided on a tyre, they will match a price for you, but then recommend another tyre for you at an unmatched price.

Yeah the $195 was quoted price and the 235's were the same RE002.. would u go the bigger tyre in the same brand or just stay with the 225's?

I have a set of 235 45 17 kumho ku36's that are going on in a week or so I can post how they fit. Similar style tyre to the re002

Cheers guys. So went with som RE002 as they were in my price range.

Now i've taken it back once already, the steering wheel sits to the left even though the car is going straight. Doing my head in as i think i have to counter the steering wheel all the time.

Anyone had this issue before?

Get a wheel alignment done. When you get new tyres they balance them for you, but they don't do a wheel alignment.

^^^^ some alignment places use computers that reads automatically, which are wrong

I had to get my car aligned 3 times to get the steerin wheel straight.

Ended up going to an alignment shop for semi trailers.... So it's all done by hand, apparently the machine reading was wayyyy off

Ahhh man going back this week for the 2nd time. Better fix it.

I pit my wheel straight and it goes off to the right onto on coming traffic.

im currently on Hancook Venus V12 tyres; so far i got no negative feedback

amazing dry grip, good wet grip and so far im getting good life out of em

theyre a "summer" tyre so theyre not good for sub zero temps
