Hi guys, just bought myself an ED6 for run around and looking at lowering it around 40-50mm

just wanna see what option do I have to lower it.

- coilovers (don't really wanna spend the same money $1500 as the price of my car)
- kings on stock shocks
- re-set springs on stock shocks (are there doin this?)

any other inputs would be much appreciate

When i first had my ED9 i wanted the same thing.

My options at first was to get lowered springs. Given the age of the existing shocks some 170,000 approx km's

you can only image what soon followed was knocking from the rear left and then slowly followed by oil leaking out of the shocks themselves.

Given that you have an ED6 the years put on the already existing suspension needs to be considered greatly
It ended up costing me in the long run getting king springs and koni yellow shocks.

If you dont really care and seeing as your in NSW how about these

Thanks mate, will those springs fit stock ED6's shocks?

also, F16 and R12 rates seem to be bit bumpy? what you reckon?

cheers

those are only good for a coilover that will fit 65mm id coil

not for stock shocks on the ed6

Bumpy? They're stiff as ****...

16kg/mm = 16kg of force before the spring compresses 1mm... =S In such a light car too lolz
