View Full Version : help gearbox clunks when shifting from fourth to third?

Synchros are fine changing up gears but going from fourth to third makes a clunk/click noise now

Not really a crunch just like a clunk

Any ideas?

Are you hard into 3rd ? IE pop the clutch or smooth ?
Might be rear engine mount , or diff

Could be the REM or might even be torque mount. Depends on what time of noise it could be.
