Got a D15Z2 engine in my 94 Honda civic 2door hatch. Is it worth doin anything to it. Or just get the 16 or 22. Only new to hondas so i need some help.

Your engine was never meant to be performance wise.

b16a or b18c would be better choice.

Depends on your budget etc.

Just drive your car around till you got a nice amount to wisely spend.

And please use the search funciton before asking questions, it gets asked so many times on this forums

Dunno much bout the D15, but from what i've heard it aint nuttin much. If it were up to me i'd either not bother doin anything and get a better car. Or if you really like ya car already then just put in a 18, maybe even a 22 if you got the budget for it.

well if u can afford to gpo for a conversion than that would be the better base to mod the car on... on a D series engine its more towards fuel economy than VRROOM VROOM *gone* =P i dunno bout the h22 but if u wanna know more about the B16a and B16a2 engines... search for post started by SirJDM, he did a very well and detailed FAQ stuff bout the conversion although he did it on a EG but atleast u get the rough idea. The search option is your best friend here :D

got the same car as you. unfortunately it's pretty hopeless for mods. Dosn't even have the twin carbs to tune. if you have the money for a conversion go for it. but if not work on the suspension. The engine isn't completely gutless, with some better suspension it's still plenty fun to drive.

look at a b series swap as the h22a would be a huge headache and most likely wallet strain.
