DC2 muffler on EK hatch

will a stock dc2 muffler (axle back) fit on an ek hatch?? I've been on alot of site where people say it fits you just need to cut the tip so it doesn't stick out. Was just told it won't fit by someone 'from experience'. can someone conform it can be done as I'm gonna get it put on professionally.

Yeh it will fit, like you said with minor modifications to the length (either at the tip or the piping before), currently running DC2R muffler
