car stops while driving

Hi guys,before i drive my car,i tighten the alternator belt as there is a little squeaking sounds. I was driving it to my friends house but when i drive it again going home,the car stops suddenly and lose everything,power,and engine. i start it up again and its all good and after 2kms problem went back. did i over tightened the belt?and makes the problem cause?

When the car cuts out what do the lights on the cluster do ?

1. ICM
2. Main PGMFI Relay
3. Ignition switch
