i never knew you can buy NSX's here in Oz brand new...

Honda Australia have always sold the NSX here... the current form is like 20K more then before the facelift. I remember they used to be about 210K for the NSX and bout 220K for the NSX-T.

But yeah, rob a bank... or two then buy one ;)

yeah, it's a Honda, y not? rock up to any dealer with your suitcase full of cash and they'll sell you an NSX anyday ;)

Haha, you guys can 'shotgun' all the rides you want, and i will be the driver....

the term 'riding Shotgun' comes from the US Police cars where the shotgun is infront of the passenger seat. So you say shotgun if you want the front passenger seat of the car... Fine with me :D

You can actually specify that you want a NSXr, they cost extra though. I think they actually manufacture NSX's after they are ordered.

NSX is always available in Australia since its release. It was once Car of the year for Wheels magazine here in Australia. Only the Auto version gets power steering, as Ayrton Senna wants Manual drivers to enjoy "race like" driving experience, so omit power steering. But I dont know if it is still the case now.
My friend's dad used to own a black Auto one, back then (1993) its only $110000 or 120000 something if I remember right. But as it get older, the price also higher.. He traded the NSX in for a Ferrari F355 few years later.

Manual NSX's got the electric power steering since about '93 or '94 (except NSX-R I beleive).

The current NSX-R apparently has no power steer also...

You can't get a NSX-R in Australia through Honda. If you could, you'd have seen it on the front page of MOTOR mag as PCOTY winner :D.

NSX-R isn't available from Honda Australia dealers but I've seen one private import. NSX's were around $150K in the early 90's.

My NSX came from Robert Lane.

AFAIK, Honda Australia doesn't carry NSX in stock so it might be at least a month or two on the waiting list or at least until the next carrier leaves Japan for Australia...
