Hey all,
Does anyone if the base model ED Hatch 87-91 that came to Aus had manual wind up window regulators. I'm trying to chase up a set as I want to use flat door cards on my track car and do away with the extra wiring. Also did the base model have power mirrors?
I like simplicity, the less electrical items the less potential problems.
Thanks

shake,
There are actually 3 different ED variants in the years your looking at.
There was a small run of initial release ED's in '87. these came with dark grey front and rear bumpers.
Then the 88/89 ED models (with colour coded bumpers)
And then the 90/91 ED's (which were facelifted)
Your best bet would be the '87 models but IIRC they were electric windows as well?, which means your going to have to chase up a set from NZ/Japan unfortunately (from their lower spec models)
ps: Aussie EE3 civic wagons are manually operated but the door cards are a way different shape though and it's possible that the arms on the internal mechanisms are the wrong length(s) as well.

thanks, might be pointless searching the aussie models then.
I have heard on US sites that the front 4 door winders can be used with the longer 3 door glass carrier and a 3 door clock spring. But that still means i need to find a suitable clock spring from an aussie model...
