what key is this.

27001hi all, my first honda (97 legend) got car from brother inlaw he's overseas so can't ask him. found a key in glovebox see pic on right. different cut to the normal key. maybe a valet key but not game to try it anywhere in case i damage electrics. any clues ?

That key is for an old Legend


It will not fit the Prelude in any way

i did say 97 legend. i did not mention prelude.

most likely a valet key.

some valet keys dont allow access for things such as electric roofs and so on.

it wont cause any problems if it fits neatly into ignition. if it doenst fit, then its an extravegant cut glovebox key ;)

i dont think the two keys are even the same.

the one on the left looks like a key for the legend. the one on the right is probably one from the mid 80s
