Hi guys,

I own a Jazz GD3 2005 VTI with 7speed CVT, and is constantly worry that my CVT will screw up. So I change it every 2 years or 24,000km. But oh god the price of CVT-F in OZ is sky high!

The price of CVT fluid here is $90 for 4 liters. I saw on Amazon US http://www.amazon.com/Honda-08200-9006-Continuously-Variable-Transmission/dp/B006Z8WOIM selling CVT-1 fluid for only about $9 a quart. I only need 2 for my next service (have 1 remaining from the bottle of last service). My question is, do you think CVT-1 in US and CVT-F in Australia are the same?

Some extra info I have found, Honda Fit in US were never equipped with CVT. CVT-1 fluid clearly indicates it is for First generation CVTs, god knows what generation my CVT is, it won't talk to me. I've had a check and it seems the 2 fluids color are identical, purple-ish clear.

If not buying from US, where do you get your CVT fluid?

Thank you all
