Hi, I have an accord v6 2004 with 95k on the clock and need to add the coolant. The problem is the coolant inside my radiator is green but when I went to buy genuine Honda coolant the color is blue.

Questions:
1. Can I just buy Nulon green coolant and add it?
2. Flush and refill with the blue genuine Honda coolant now?
3. Wait until I change the timing belt and water pump which should be in another 6 months?
Thank you before.

Nulon is fine with green
Keep the coolant colours the same
Why is your coolant level low?
Leaking

If you're a bit anal
Flush it and refill it with blue or green
Though im sure originally it came with blue and someone else before hand put green in when it was flushed

Also Nulon makes blue coolant, which meets Honda oem coolant blue specs

Thanks for the reply. Not sure why the water is low but I found out that the reservoir cap is cracked. Probably I'm gonna flush it and use Nulon blue because honda genuine one is quite expensive around 69$ per 5 litre.

$69 for around 2-3 years worth of worry free motoring (coolant side) isnt an issue , right ? Dont be a tightass :)
