I'm attempting to remove the roof railing which is located on both sides of a CRV 2004 Winter Classic. I mange to open the screw covers and undo the screws and the railing slides a few mms forwards and back but I am unable to remove it completely. This is not to be confused with a roof rack.It seems to be in 3 pieces, one located over the windscreen, 2nd center piece and the 3rd piece is screwed down at the rear. My fear is one needs to remove the piece located on the edge of the windscreen to possibly slide the center piece off.Any info would be appreciated.
