just wondering if a breeze hatch EG3 1.3 carb took on a civic sedan Gl, technically whom should come out better? GL is 1.5 carb right?

GL is a 1.5 EFi...

and i guess the 1.5 would have more grunt!

GL is 1.5 twin carby, GLi is the EFi ;)

But GL is 1.5 twin carby, whereas the breeze is 1.3 single carby..
never seen them match up, but i believe the GL should have more power

Yeah gl is 1.5L twin carb. eg gl's and perhaps even the ed ones had d15b4 in oz I think. gl should come out on top. Although it might depend if it was auto or not. Cuz I test drove an 89 or something auto sedan gl and I'm pretty sure my 1.5 single carb could have taken it. Dunno how much difference there is between the 1.3 and 1.5 breeze. You'd have a better idea than me since you've been in mine :)

yeah i know that the GL has more power and all but being a sedan compared to a hatch it would be heavier all up.

hmm... im driving a 92 GL. had extractors, custom exhaustpipework, 2.25in cannon and a k&N panel filter. i know the stock HP is a mere 100HP. but i wonder how much have i gain... ooh...sad to say, its an auto too. :( trying to sell my car now and hopefully i will be able to get an SI!! VTI is out of my budget and with a sohc vtec, i think i will prefer the SI with DOHC.
