CL9 squeaky brake pedal

My brake pedal squeaks when pushed all the way down, and again when releasing it. If I push it say only half way down, it doesn't squeak.

I tried spraying silicone grease in the pivot and cylinder above the brake pedal but it made no difference. The noise sounds like it is coming from that location.

Any ideas?

use a dry lubrcant, something like a graphite powder will work wonders, if not a hb pencil rubbed on the surface will help.
