G'day peeps

I've been trying to search up and down, trying to find out what is involved to swapping a b18c (96 JDM ITR) replacing the b16a I currently have

A few questions I wanted to ask was

What will I need? Can I use my existing loom?
Thinking since I'm already running a b series motor, unhooking the engine loom from b16a and throwing it on the b18c shouldn't be a problem

I know the ek4 is currently an obd2a and the JDM 96 spec itr is also obd2a

Should I be running into any problems? Will I need to run a conversion harness? Ecu will be hondata

Use the existing loom.
Literally bolts in exactly the same

Thanks Benjamin! I thought so, but I'm just abit iffy, just use the existing driveshafts aswell? Gearbox is from a audm itr b18c7, has spoon 1.5way LSD and ogura 309d clutch

If I was to run an ecu (standard) what ecu can I use to run it for the time being?

Yep same driveshafts.
I'd use the standard ECU - it will run fine for the 'mo

The engine I'm getting doesn't come with the matching ecu

Cause I'm wondering Benjamin, at work I have a p73 fr an integra, reckon it'll be possible to fit?

Off the top of my head, it should all be identical. As long as the engine is the b16a2, which I believe the b18c jdm is.
Driveshafts, mounts, loom will all be the same.

The b18c will be a p73.

but p73 from audm or JDM itr ecu's should both work correcT?

Yep. P73 is the same. As long as the engine is the type r red top.

By that I mean b18cr or b18c7/c5. Both from the 2000 ITR
