hey
my catalytic converter makes crackling noises when the engine is cooling down and when its idling... this a problem? how do i fix it?

might be rusted on the inside, replace it. not cheap, but saying that you can get the x-force one from underground for $189 delivered.

is it sort of a ticking? sounds like its just the heat shield cooling down.

its almost a rattling kind of ticking :(
