Factory output

Hey can anyone tell me the output for the head unit in my civic it looks like this:

What would be a good little pair of front speakers ~$70 to use with it?

i dunno bout that but i know if u wanna get the bang for youe bucks its better you change that headunit =P

Yeah i realise that, but i dont want to spend that much. I got $ for my birthday which is intended to go towards some 4"s so im just wondering what would be good to get around that price.

If it really isnt worth it then say so im not gonna go put it to waste, but dont bother suggesting more expensive alternatives.

no point changin speakers if u got stock HU... especially 4inch spks... the output is prob 4x30w or 4x40w.. but most likely 4x30w...

What year Civic is it? From memory most factory Civic head units around the late 90's output about 17 watts per channel continous. :)
