2004 Lux Euro - 2 main issues - need help

Purchased my Euro last December. Car has had 2 issues which are pissing me off.

1) Winding up sound when accelerating. Only in 1st, 2nd, & 3rd gear. Does not occur when revving. Sounds like its coming from the front left wheel and has slowly started on the right front wheel now.

2) The stereo lights are all out. The LCD display is okay however the lights around it are all out.

160,xxx kms. Auto.

The second problem is very common. I fixed mine by removing the head unit and replacing the blown transistor. I had to order the transistor for the states. Got a couple of spares, I can send you one if you want to give it a go.

^^^ either try to do it yourself or take it to a XBox repair/modding place, they have the soldering skills.

On a side note, I have a spare head unit without the CD stacker if you just want to do a swap and go.
