Hi guys,

Just wondering if there are any of you experience with the Honda CVT. Are they reliable? I have read so many articles mentioning about Nissan and Toyota failures on this. And it is getting frustrating as Honda put more CVT back in their new car fleet.

What I know is the Jazz is the first to get it. Jazz first gen. And now it is back again on 3rd gen.

Are they as reliable as conventional Auto already?

Thanks.

Well actually the EK Civic and HRV was the first to get it back in 1996.

Its no secret even Honda had failures with CVT's, mainly the start clutch shuttering/failing.

its important to maintain the servicing of any Honda CVT or Auto to keep them working right.
