K24a3 K swap

Hey guys, cant find to much info on this

i am doing a K swap into my 99 ek

i am going to use a k24a3 with the 6 speed ( non LSD ) that it came with.

Is there any truth to not being able to use this gearbox with Ekk2 engine mounts ?

and also i have heard it does not have a VSS, if so where do you get the speed pick up ?

I asked the same question and if I recall correctly, you can fit the gearbox if you use the EG subframe + mounts.

yeah i am using the EG subframe, the Ekk2 mounts are made for it, just nothing says if its " compatible " with the K24a3 gearbox.

Yes u will need a eg/dc subframe

You will need to use EG subframe but the rear mounting bracket and upper gearbox mounts are different when using a K24 & Euro 6 speed box
