hey guys, car suddenly over rev when i drive, so i checked.found out i was low on coolant and oil so i topped it up but its still happening. could it be low compression from bad gasket or clutch is gone ??

Please describe yourself better.

Cos the only way I know a car will over rev and trust me on this. None on the almighty interwebs can help you with that.

Since you say she was low on coolant, I'd say you would also like to know where all that coolant has gone.

If headgasket leaking, this will be evident on the cap where you top engine oil. When oil mix's with water, it turns into melting Yellow Valina ice cream? hmmm Pussy Juice with a hint of hep b? It will be deposited underneath the cap.

If no go inspect thermostat, coolant lines or radiator leakages etc.

Could be chance that air is trapped inside your cooling system. Which will make your car idle and drive kinda funny.

if the car over revs, you have to start taking your foot off the accelerator when you disengage the clutch

if you're not disengaging the clutch, then it might be worn
