ur cash allows you to buy an EG which ranges from the EG Breeze to something 1 lvl better if i recall correctly... hatchback of course ;) well the best mod would be an engine swap just use the search option and look for a post by SiR JDM about b16a engine swap, it is very detailed so should answer most of your question bout the swap and you defiantely need to strenghten your car for it
wat yr model? and a breeze and civic are the same? would i be able to get a coupe instead of a hatch? although i do like hatches

u can try going for an EG coupe but iudnno what is it call... try going to carsales.com.au =P and yes breeze = EG = Civic
if you wanted a coupe.. the most seen coupe would be the EK coupe a.k.a civic Si (american for civic coupes)
Breeze is basically the cheapest EG i think its... 1995 or 6... could be older than that
ahhk thnax, if anyone else has ne imput that would be great.
were would i go to but one?

again like i say carsales.com.au or can just go to google.com.au and search used car
if i recall u can go get an RACV (or something like that) inspector to inspect the car u wanna buy (not so sure bout the detials for that)
but just so you know an engine swap along with other stuff to strenghten your car and stabalize it would total up to a 6 to 7k or more depending on mechanics and parts
i jsut use the search option for all this info back then so remmeber to use it! its gonna be yor best friend here :D cuz ever1 hate noobs..... na j/k
lol... im sorry if im being noobish, its jsut i cant wait till i get a car and i dont wanna be dissapointed. i searched on trading psot.com.au and found there cars are cheaper on there compared to carsales.com.au a 1997 honda civic vti i think for $9800... i was looking at something more like that.

According your budget, you may get crx(B16A) or eg(B16A) or EK ( not vtec).

depends what you want from your car. The two you posted above the red one although newer is the cxi model. You may not be happy with its performance. Where as if you go for something a bit older you might be able to get an si or a vti. Just read on these forums. Get to know the models so that you can simply get the best car you can for your money. There are also plenty of ideas for mods.

First of all, welcome to Ozhonda !
Secondly, an EG coupe is going to be VERY hard to find, let alone finding one for under 9500.. There are only two that I know of, that are in Melbourne.. If you were thinking of a EK style Coupe, it'll also be pretty hard to find for that price..
Your best option, if you want something with a little more go, is to get a EG civic hatch (92-95 model) and do a b16a conversion.. There are plenty of threads on this issue, and I suggest you do a search before asking any questions about it, as you'll most likely get flamed..
If you don't think you have enough money, I suggest you buy the car that you really like, then use it til you save up enough for a conversion/boost..
And with modifications, as everyone else says, you get what you pay for.
So if you can afford the big branded stuff, then I suggest you buy them..
Cheers,

Wow there's EG style coupes in Melbourne? That's sick. I didn't even think there was any in Australia. And about buying your car, just read around the forums for a little longer. Learn a little more about the different aspects and then you'll be able to make a good decision on your own. There is pleanty of information on all you need to know in dis forum. There's no real short cut, to finding your answer when you don't really know what options are avalible and what you want.

for 9500 u can pick up one of these babys if u do your hw and bust balls like no tomorrow.
DELSOL - b16a
dc2 integra vtir - b18c
ek civic coupe - sohc vti
if your going EG civic hbs then.
EG HB - SI or VTI.
Dont get the other pos. breeze/GL(non EFI models). GLI is EFI but no rear disc brakes, looks homo with rims

u can buy a nice clean EG VT-i which is vtec and has all the options, u can also get the EK serious which are newer (bubbly shape) but u cant get a vtec for that price on the eks, i woul;d buy a EG VTi u can find one on car sales or tradingpost dont go to dealers they're rip offs the valued my car at $8g but i bought it for 6. EG VTi are hektik they got power looks and options.
type one

EG Vti or Si is your best bet, the EG is in my opinion a nicer looking shape than the EK and has really stood the test of time.
YOu can swap an engine into an EG breeze but the hassles involved in this may not be worth it... i think swapping an engine into a Vti would offer you far less hassles... plus you get rear discs and a SUNROOF hehehe
plus with the Vti or Si you could also choose to turbo charge which is also a viable option and for approx the same amount of money as an engine swap will give u much more useable power.
