Insurance Murder - Go NRMA and you don't have to worry about it, I inlcuded mine on the policy and there was no increase in excess or basic rate
I don't know much about B series engines, but the improvement from hondata on my k20 was more than worth it, gain is 5-10kw most of the way through the rev range, with what use to be dull points (3000 -5000 rpm) being the best part of the drive now.
From what I remember, james was increasing b series stock engines by >8kw at the wheels, increase should be more with non stock internals
Good Points - Fuel economy increased dramatically (60k+ extra out of a tank, had it for a little over 4000k), power, and loads more torque, more consistant power delivery in vtec and pre vtec
Bad points - I have accidently converted a (nissan fanatic) friend into wanting my car, cost + cost of tuning, (my thoughts) may cause more stress on the engine, thus reducing lifespan
