it works more obvious on a stock car IMO

really useful meh?

u tell me..... u fit one on ur car mar....wanna know the difference is easy ar.... just unscrew the positive side and have a drive...... c any difference...
for my car i can feel the difference cos when i installed it, i just installed it without doing anything else like changing oil of which changing oil itself will improve the driving response of the vehicle..... but think again, i am sure anyone that has ever change engine oil would notice a difference in the performance of the vehicle but not really substantial.... hard to explain

i have installed an voltage stabliser as well, it cost my friend (yes, i BORROWED his ;) ) around 260 bucks, not sure about the brand, but looks quite nice quality.

Anyway. the effect is obvious IMO, car has more response at the low end and u could feel a little bit of the "push" finally (from a stock jazz of couse). Revs a little bit more easily too. Fuel consumption...not yet measure, so not sure.

I think it's quite useful on a stock and small car, but don't expect it would give u a major change though.

oh ya, why more effective on small car?

Think this way, a car with 50Kws and another has 200kws, same voltage stablisers and give 5kws to each car. wat's the percentage gain in power?

50kw car = increase 10%
200kws car = increase 2.5%

so u could tell that it's not so hard to feel the 10% increase, but then 2.5% is just so minor that u might not be able to feel it.

RAIZIN VOLT STABILIZER

This one.... http://www.the-pivot.co.jp/product/se/raizin-e.html

http://www.the-pivot.co.jp/product/se/img/vs-1.jpg

The car feels great..... definately smoother than before and bagaichiban is quite right.. I can feel more response from the low end.. I think bagaichiban has the BuddyClub Condensor... cost a bit more but similiar thing...

Also, Zimp13 is quite right.. oil change has a little bit of different but not substantial... I can feel that the car is smooth assss .. What can I say.... look driving it more than before....

i wonder if this be of any use in my car, since my alarm has some stupid feature that when one opens the doors the hazards go on, if one listens closely the exhausts starts making making odd puff puff noises every second or so and also every second you can hear the pod suck air

Just get a stinger gauge 4 power cable kit from JB hi-fi or any car audio shop, it's got everything u need. You'll have enough wires to do 2-3 cars too :p

installed my Pivot stabliser on monday as well as the ground wires.... the car certainly feels more responsive..... especially when I am crusing in gear, the car doesn't decrease speed even when I take my foot off the gas pedal...... and from start the speed picks up smoother.... may be its my eyes, my headlights ARE brighter.... one last thing, when ever I use the electric windows, the effect on the engine is more obvious..... donno why..... :D but I am happy with the overall improvement, worth the price I paid....

big thanks to zimp13..... the ground wires are fantastic...... :)

Hi all, I am from Malaysia. Its been a while I am looking at all the threads here.. u guys gave me so much info. I own a Jazz 1.5 vtec as well.

I just bought a PIVOT RAIZIN with PIVOT grounding cable. Plan to install it on my own. THE VS is easy to install. But for the grounding, I am scratching my head which point to take. The manual show me a few points, bulkhead, generator, cylinder head, distributor and body panel. I have problem locating distributor. Can someone kind enough to take some photo ( to those who has done the grounding) and show it to me please. You can also email to me at yy57021@edag.com.my. Thanks a lot.

ye pics of where you install your grounding wires would be nice
