The drivers side inner cv boot is throwing grease out at high rpm. I've replaced the boot and clamp but to no avail. Any ideas?

If its still leaking grease then you have done up the clamp tight enough or you boot is not the best fit. Did you use OEM or aftermarket ?

Aftermarket, I've tried 2 different brands. Don't have any problems with the other 3 I replaced at the same time.

then your clamps are to loose,

did you let all the air out of the boot before clamping it ?

Thanks, but it is NOT loose. As I said, the other 3 are fine. You cannot move the boot at all & I've ensured that there is no trapped air.

Using the metal bands. If I was doing it wrong it should be a problem on the other 3 boots that I replaced, so thats why I'm posting here to get some other ideas. Maybe the machined groove is worn/out of spec? Dunno...

OP did u make sure the groove is grease free when tightening?

A little trick to prevent weeping is smear some liquid gasket or similar around the band end and onto the cup itself. If there is a slight chance of a weep this will seal it up

Hmm, yes I clean up both faces with acetone. Might try the silcone method thou.
