Anyone else got the recall for passenger airbag?

Just reading the words "airbag rupturing" gives me the shivers.

Contact your Honda Dealer if recall notification hasn't been mailed to you yet.

2001 to 2003 models only.

Mines a 01/04... Should I worry about an immediate implosion...

The thing that shits me is that we have to wait for them to tell us when to bring the car in... Surely I'm not the only one who feels uncomfortable driving the jazz after receiving that notice?

Wife got one. Details on the card were correct so no need to send anything back.

I'm guessing we just wait for our local Honda Dealer to contact us?

Well considering my car has been out of the Honda network for about 1yr, I think I better drop by...

I just bought it up with Service Center when she was in for her 120,000KM service.

They said they can do it now. Left the car behind for 1/2 day. My letter said you needed book, from memory... ill double check

Checked for my VIN against - Link (https://www.recalls.gov.au/content/item.phtml?itemId=1047043&nodeId=ab548fb7fe2a52236b76393c339588d2&fn=VIN%20List.xls)

Basically if your VIN has in bold:

JHMGD38503S200420

Then its part of the recall, my car was early 04 so unsure if it was built 03 or 04'... If its 04 built, then the part in bold will be 04' ;)

Yes on my 2003 Jazz. Easy. Also on the clutch piston. Check the Honda Australia site
