Car 2. Simple. I don't know why you would even consider car 1?

B Series Gearbox worst one say from b18c2 cost atleast $400

Then clutch, and the box you buy may have a few problems.

Full respray at a shit shop will cost minimum 2k. Descent shop will take atleast 4k+ a good shop will ask for upwards of 5k.

Then there is a factor that you cannot put a price on. YOUR TIME to do all this.

I would take carayans advise and just wait for something else on the market and save up more.

Cos by that time something better might be available or a better car may become an option.

If you need a car now. Buy a cheap EG run about for under 2k.

Awesome replies guys, much thanks goes to EKVTIR-T and amant02.
I honestly thought 7k for the EK VTIR would've been a cheap buy, just wasn't to sure with the first car, with the parts and paints.

Much apprecaited guys, all feed back is welcomed!

Your question has been answered. Seems to me that your really excited about getting a new car and your wanting someone to pick one of these two for you.

I'd go with opt2 if there was no other opt available.

But the truth is there is other options out there and the real deal is gonna hurt.

Why do you need coilovers? Are you ever gonna head out to the track?

Why do you need an engine swap? Is the stock motor so weak that it doesn't take you from A to B?

Why do you need 5 stud? Is the standard brakes that bad, that it wont stop in time at a red light when your doing the speed limit?

Are the stock seats so uncomfortable that you need to replica bride to show off to your mates?

Why do we even need an aftermarket exhaust, pssht its not like your gonna invest another few hundred at the least to get her tuned?

noimsayin?

Conclusion, its your money. YOU decide how you want to waste it.

Letme tell you one thing, don't get caught up in this car business, since you have asked a question like this it only leads me to believe your about to fk up and you just don't know it.

Sit down, slow down think about it, your about to part with 7k for a car that's nearly as old as I'm when some NEW cars are going for not too much more. Is it worth it?

And you wonder why no one is replying.

i had a full outside re-spray done on my 77 Fairlane. if rue un familiar with the model google it.

a mate did it at his shop, it was masked up, so no door jams or engine bay painted and it still cost me $5k

"just my 5c"
