Hey guys

My s15 has an annoying belt squel on COLD start up only.
It's your typical squel for 2-4 secs and goes away.

All 3 belts have just been changed. Thought it was the one belt that I didn't change, how ever I changed the 3rd and final belt (power steering belt) yesterday.

Any input would be great

Did you check your pulleys for play while you were at it?

While its cold spray some water on the belt, see if the noise gets worse or goes away.

Should tell you where to look, belt, pulley or tensioner issue.

Probably need to tighten one of them, or there could be an issue in one of the tensioners as above said.
When they are new, they tend to stretch a little bit. I got mine replaced, and it was good for a few days, then squealed like a bitch, took it back, they adjusted it as it's pretty normal. just not to stretch that quickly. Probably didn't help I was blasting my sub during some of that. That is alt belt I mean, mind.

Thanks for the replies. Will have a look and tighten belts.

Don't tighten them too much, or you can destroy bearings and what not inside of things. Alt one can destroy water pump depending on what engine you have.

The is a certain method for getting it tight enough but not too tight. Can't remember it off the top of my head

Happened to my EG, just tightened it and it was fine.
